Chaos of Colour Collection

A new series of original artworks using bold blocks of colour to create a statement collection.

Inspired by the colouring, habitat, vocalisation, behaviour, food source and conservation status of a selection of birds from the natural science collection at Leicester Museum.

Lucy collaborates with birding charities to access information, case studies and academic journals provided by the RSPB and the British Trust for Ornithology (BTO) to interpret data into visual representations, often reducing information down to a shape, colour, line or pattern using her signature style in a variety of mixed media.
