The Queen of Trees

A totem of artworks to celebrate the queen of British trees- the Beech tree. These vibrant painted artworks on beech slices showcase a collection of amazing facts about beech including its incredible carbon-locking qualities, the wildlife that thrives on its leaves, visualisations of birdsong and even the tail lengths of wildlife that enjoy eating its seeds.

The sculpture trail features 25 local artists using a variety of mediums. Visit the trail and follow the signage at Beacon Country Park, Beacon Road, Woodhouse Eaves LE12 8SP.
